It’s #nationalsausageweek and to get things of to a good start here is my super easy, but totally delicious midweek meal using @thejollyhog caramelised porkers. Don’t you just love their name? They are #glutenfree, made from the premium cuts such as belly and shoulder (no nasties) and all of the British pork used is outdoor bred. This easy, budget friendly, family pleaser, never fails to deliver. 😋 ⠀ @sainsburys @ocadouk ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ Serves 4 ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ INGREDIENTS ⠀ 8-10 Sausages - I used @jollyhog 2 red peppers cut into chunks ⠀ 2 red onions sliced into wedges ⠀ 10 small new potatoes ⠀ 1-2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar ⠀ Basil leaves to finish (optional)⠀ A large roasting tin ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ METHOD ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Start by drizzling the potatoes with olive oil and seasoning them with salt and pepper. Place in an oven of 210 degrees for 30 mins. ⠀ ⠀ Remove from the oven and add the peppers onions, sausages and drizzle with balsamic. Give it a good toss and then return to the oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with torn basil leaves.
