Pastry and sausages twice in one week! Sorry, but this had to be done. I’ve seen these circulating the internet and had to give them a go. You can make these with frankfurters, but I have to say I’m not a fan and thought they’d be much tastier made with regular sausages.

INGREDIENTS
6 sausages
1/2 pack ready rolled puff pastry
12 edible eyes (I found them on amazon)
(Mix together in a bowl)
1 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (Conventional) 180 degrees (fan)
Cook the sausages for 15 minutes and allow to cook completely.
Cut the pastry into 1cm strips. If you think it’s too warm then place it in the freezer for a few minutes. Dip each sausage in the honey/mustard and wrap with a strip of pastry. Place on a lined baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes.
