Roasted Pears With Stilton & Honey


I’m really trying to focus on budget friendly recipes that don’t sacrifice on taste. Eating on a budget can still feel opulent. These gorgeous roasted pears would make the most amazing starter at a dinner party and they come in at £1.80 per portion. I used Stilton, but any blue cheese would work beautifully.


Serves 2


2 pears

100g Stilton

1-2 tablespoons honey


METHOD


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees c (conventional) 180 degrees c (fan)


Slice the pears in half lengthways and scoop out the core with a teaspoon. Drizzle with 1/2 the honey and roast for 15-20 minutes. Top with the crumbled Stilton and roast for another 10 minutes or until sticky and golden. Drizzle with the rest of the honey.
