Tandoori Prawn Tacos with Mango & Chilli Salsa

I made these today whilst on a photo shoot with the lovely @molliemanningcreative filmed @tomhowleykitchens

Ready in under 15 minutes, these tasty tacos were too good not to share. Washed down with a few picantes, I think it’s safe to say it was another good day at the office.

Serves 2


1 clove garlic - crushed

1 teaspoon grated ginger

1 teaspoon tandoori spice mix

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon tomato purée

1 tablespoons natural yogurt

Juice 1/4 lemon

Salt & pepper


1 mango - finely diced

1/4 red onion - finely diced

1 red chilli - finely diced

2 teaspoons chopped coriander

Juice 1/2 lime

Drizzle of olive oil

Salt & pepper

4 soft tacos

150g raw prawns


Mix the marinade together and coat the prawns.

Mix the salsa ingredients and set aside.

Pan fry the prawns on a medium heat in a little olive oil. Stir until pink.

Dry fry the tacos on each side to warm. Top with the prawns and salsa. Serve immediately.
