Creamy Prawn, Pea & Dill Pasta


I made this silky pasta dish last Saturday, it was ready in under 20 minutes and much to my delight was enjoyed by all. This would actually work really well with flakes of salmon instead of the prawns, or for a really indulgent recipe you could use both!


Serves 4


2 small onion - finely chopped

3 cloves garlic - crushed

200g frozen peas

250g raw prawns

4 tablespoons creme fraiche

1 tablespoon chopped dill

500g pasta



Boil the water for the pasta.

Sauté the onion and garlic until soft. Add the prawns and peas and cook until pink. Add the creme fraiche and warm through. Stir through the dill, check for seasoning. Toss with the pasta and serve immediately.
